Announcements

• The JSLink file expects certain fields to be available in the associated view
• On the view where you want to attach the Announcements JSLink, edit the web part and modify the current view. It should display the following fields:
• ID
• Title
• Body
• Created
• Created By
• PictureUrl (This is an optional custom field)
• This should be a "hyperlink or picture" field, with option "format URL as Picture"
• If this column exists, any pictures provided will show up on the announcements rather than the default annoucement image

To illustrate the point, here's a sample Announcements list view with required fields:

• For Announcements lists, attach the following JSLink file: ~sitecollection/SiteAssets/jslink/announcements.js using the procedure described in Instalation

Calendar

• The JSLink file expects certain fields to be available in the associated view. In addition the view must be set to a standard table view, rather than a calendar view.
• On the view where you want to attach the Calendar JSLink, edit the web part and set the current view to "All Events" (or a similar view with appropriate filter). We suggest limiting number of items to 5 or 10.
• Edit the view and ensure it displays the following fields:
• ID
• Title
• Description
• Location
• Category
• Created
• Created By
• Start Time

Following is a sample view needed for Calendars.

• For Calendars, attach the following JSLink file: ~sitecollection/SiteAssets/jslink/calendar.js using the procedure described in Instalation
